ITRA Polska_IBK wprowadza się do WFC

In early June 2025, the Industrial Bank of Korea (IBK) will open its branch on the top, 31st floor of the Warsaw Financial Center (WFC). The tenant was advised in the leasing process by ITRA Polska, securing approximately 950 sqm of office space.

Headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, the Industrial Bank of Korea is one of the country’s largest banks, controlled by the Government of the Republic of Korea. Its mission is to support small and medium-sized enterprises. In autumn 2024, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) approved the establishment of IBK Bank Polska S.A., which will commence operations for business clients upon the opening of its Warsaw office in WFC.

Warsaw Financial Center is a prestigious location in the heart of Warsaw’s Central Business District, offering not only an excellent work environment but also proximity to key financial institutions. We are pleased that IBK Bank Polska S.A. will establish its headquarters here.says Ji Wook Kim, EU Managing Director (Head of EU Operations), Industrial Bank of Korea.

To secure an office that meets IBK’s requirements, the bank was advised by ITRA Polska throughout the leasing process.

„The Industrial Bank of Korea was looking for a prestigious location among well-known international firms. Warsaw Financial Center proved to be the perfect choice, combining an excellent location, prestige, and breathtaking views. The office on the 31st floor will provide not only a comfortable workspace but also a unique panoramic view of Warsaw.” – says Zlatina Mikołajczyk, Advisor in the Office Department at ITRA Polska.

Warsaw Financial Center is one of the most recognizable office buildings in Warsaw, situated at the intersection of Emilii Plater and Świętokrzyska Streets. The 32-story skyscraper, inspired by Chicago high-rises, was completed in 1998, setting new standards for Warsaw’s Central Business District (CBD). It offers 50,000 sqm of office space, primarily leased by financial institutions, FMCG companies, and law firms. In late 2019, WFC became part of the CPI Property Group’s portfolio.

“Warsaw Financial Center has long been attracting top international institutions. The choice of IBK Bank Polska S.A. confirms that our building meets the highest expectations of financial sector tenants – both in terms of location and office standards.” – says Ewelina Nuszczyńska, Senior Leasing Manager, CPI Property Group.

The leasing process was supported by the SK&S Legal law firm, with the project team including Natalia Łabęda (Senior Associate) and Jakub Potocki (Junior Associate).
